COME, THOU LONG-EXPECTED JESUS
My husband, Dave, is joining me on the marimbula at the St. Augustine Celtic and Heritage Festival, March 13-15, 2026. This will be our debut performance together--Come check it out!
We will be playing traditional Celtic favorites, and some that might not be so familiar. Florida is a great place to be in March, and this is my favorite Celtic festival--something for everyone: Highland games, whiskey tasting, clans, vendors, fair food and constant entertainment on two stages.
St. Augustine is an interesting place historically and culturally; come make a week of it. Hope to see you there!

Music is an undeniable and integral part of being human. It can mend what is broken and heal heartache. Music is a part of everyday life, a part of important celebrations, and an emotional support at all times.
Heart Strings grew out of my love for the hammered dulcimer and my passion to share its beauty and healing qualities.
That Passion and Power are the motivation and impetus behind Heart Strings.

I play almost every Friday and Saturday morning at the Butterfly House in Chesterfield, MO, and have performed in many locations in the area. Some of my time is spent giving private lessons in my home studio and on ZOOM. You might also find me teaching or just hanging out at one of the many dulcimer festivals around the country. I would be happy to perform at your facility or event, or provide healing music via ZOOM or in your home.

Although a lifelong music teacher and classical pianist, I first saw a hammered dulcimer on the streets of St. Augustine in 2017. It was love at first sight! Within months I had one of my own, and spent hours and HOURS learning to play before winning the National Hammered Dulcimer Championship in 2023.
My several music degrees and extensive training in therapeutic music combine to create a unique blend of classical, folk, pop, hymns, and original music.

This piece captures the heavenly feeling of paddling on the lake with the sun barely peaking over the trees, birds singing, gentle breeze blowing, and the swish, swish of the paddling meeting the water. Come take a ride with me.
America has seen its ups and downs over the past 250 years; my arrangement is meant to express some of the various eras in our history.
